Hebe 'Sunstreak' is a naturally occurring Hebe which was discovered in 1999 in a controlled environment in Pirimai, Napier, New Zealand as a naturally-occurring whole plant mutation of the Hebe hybrida cultivar Wiri Image. Commercial production occurred in Boskoop in the Netherlands.
It is an upright and somewhat outwardly spreading plant form which has a freely branching, dense and bushy growth habit with grayed green and pale yellow variegated foliage.  The leaves are about 6cm long with a width of 1.7cm. 
It has a plant height of about 39 cm and a diameter of about 37 cm.
It has tolerated temperatures as high as 35° C.
