Eudonia sabulosella is a native New Zealand moth in the Crambidae family. It has a wingspan is 20–22 mm. and a body length of 8-11 mm. The forewings are pale greyish-ochreous, irrorated with white along the costa and on the dorsal half. There is a suffused blackish streak from the base along the submedian fold to the middle. The hindwings are grey-whitish, tinged with ochreous. Adults have been recorded on the wing in November, December and January.
